"I created this piece as part of an on-going series dedicated to images of ‘The curious otherworldly male figure with Rabbit Ears’ The viewer becomes a voyeur in the scene which in many ways feels like it could be part of a dream-sequence. The figure stands with his back turned gazing out at what we might imagine is a vast sea, or perhaps a lake. Homoerotic, playful but also mysterious, the piece challenges the traditional male gaze making reference to ‘Playboy’ imagery in which the female figure wearing rabbit ears is photographed facing the viewer and completely exposed"
